MTN SACCO is the acronym for Murang’a, Thika and Nairobi. It is a Savings and Credit Co-operative Society whose membership is drawn from the Matatu owners. It has been in existence for 22 years having been registered in the year 2000. The sacco was registered with the core objective of mobilizing savings and advancing credit resources to its members. The sacco operates within Muranga, Thika, Nairobi, Nakuru and Nyeri routes.
